Cummard, considered BYU's No. 1 recruiting priority, likely will play one year for Steve Cleveland and then serve an LDS mission. The Mesa (Ariz.) High School student He turns 19 next summer, Nelson said. "I think it speaks volumes about the recruiting job Cleveland did. I was in the home with many friends and relatives when BYU's coaches made their official visit, and they did an impressive job," he said. Cummard was offered by Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, the Cougars and Sun Devils.
